LAND & PEOPLE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Creating a place of belonging for everyone to experience their own soul's excellence is a vital part of inspiring Dallasites to heal through the practice of kundalini yoga and meditation.
As a spiritual wellness company, we are witnesses of the full human experience — and that includes the narratives we share about the land and its people.

Frontier Settlers

Slaves
Our classes are held on the original land of the Jumanos, Kickapoo, Tawakoni, and Wichita sovereign nations. These people faced warfare and sudden technological advancement that forced their abandonment of the land.
Frontier settlers were also raided, kidnapped, tortured, and massacred as a consequence of the culture clashes with Native Texans.
People were also stolen from their homes in Africa, enslaved, dehumanized, and forced to build Dallas.
While none of us have personally contributed to these conditions, we have the opportunity, responsibility, and honor to uplift these communities through radical acceptance and understanding, heart-centered connection, and holistic celebration of our differences.
Dallas is now home to cultures from all over the globe. We honor our differences and come together in unity of spirit, acknowledging the spirit of God lives inside all of us.
Thank you for joining us in acknowledging this land and these people.
